The North Side Garden is located on the north side (of course) of 117 Bimini. For this project LAEV residents met and re-designed the area. We removed an existing concrete sidewalk, then built up a retaining wall of broken concrete. We filled in soil and created dry creek beds in areas below downspouts. We planted the site with native vegetation. The site now retains and infiltrates storm water that used to run off the sidewalk.
