Lara Morrison has resided in the two-block neighborhood where the initial properties stewarded by the Beverly-Vermont Community Land Trust are located for more than 13 years. She was part of the formation board for the BVCLT and has contributed to the formation of the Limited Equity Housing Cooperative, Urban Soil/Tierra Urbana, created to transition building ownership to residents. Both organizations
emerged as part of the Los Angeles Eco-Village Demonstration Project initiated by CRSP. Lara Morison managed the two 1920s multi-family buildings when owned by CRSP, overseeing the renovations, maintenance and eco-technologies.
Lara also coordinated participation in the LEED Neighborhood Development Pilot Project for the Los Angeles Eco-Village. She holds a MA in Bioethics from the Medical College of Wisconsin and a BA in Environmental Science from the University of Washington.
