Food Coop Meeting Minutes 2/22/07 8 PM
Attending: Ron, Ritu, Dave, Ann, Randy
Comments On Quality-Dave wonders if there is a problem. Ann mentions some specific complaints she heard. Broccoli went bad early, as did tomatoes. Dave will ask Edgar about what happened.
Randy wonders if we need handout with specific expectations of membership. Ann says she will work on this.
Alternative sources. Rebbekah has farmer friends. Ron will go on thursday to central market to investigate.
Late money? What to do? Will folks come through reliably? Should we order $20 extra if we don’t have a number of orders we expect? Sure.
Bulk. We need to be able to order $550 a month, not yet.
Ritu would like to get Homeboy Industries in on this, to help with their healthy lunch program.
Ron is excited, suggests a working weekend in 3-4 months to do some goal and strategy planning after initial rush of woohoo we started this is over. He’ll help facilitate that.
