Approval of the workshift list:
♦ Clarification that a few of the listed workshifts are new ideas that haven’t been assigned yet
♦ Agreement to post the list on the wiki for further fine-tuning
Additional cell setup
♦ Proposal: to switch from 5 to 6 cells
♦ Concern about potential need for more people per shift with the larger recent orders (averaging over $300 lately).
♦ On the other hand, concern about the potential impression that individual cell members are not really needed.
♦ Agreement to get feedback from all cell leaders over the next month on whether we have enough people for the current setup.
Interlude on cell leader communication with coordinator (Ron)
♦ Note: Cell leaders need to give an update to Ron each month, particularly if they don’t come to the monthly meeting.
Bulk order coordinator needed
Jocelyn will get help from Yuki (till February ) and Johnny (if needed). We will invite Hunter to help if he’s interested.
Starting to use Room 110 kitchen (next to bike room) as a bulk food room
The idea would be to try offering dry goods that will be stored to buy during open hours once or twice a week.
The renters of the space moved out due to water damage. The room has since been repaired.
The food co-op would need to present to the community.
The basement could eventually be a useful space but is currently not viable: too hot, dirty, fleas, etc. Would be a multi-month project to clean up.
Need larger discussion
Interlude: slightly marking up the basic cost bulk order to cover expenses: no decision.
Report on 110 shelves
Jimmy donated metal shelves found in alley.
Interlude on various topics:
Reminder of goal from earlier meeting to get to $500 orders so we can order from several farmers.
Option to aim big or to split into several groups that are more local.
Agreement to maximize this space for now, and take advantage of the remaining room to grow.
Space check-in, status of bathroom
If we get up to a bigger order, we need more space or to have enough cell members to spend a bit of time pushing over the furniture and setting up tables.
The bathroom next to the bike room is being repaired. It will still be a little while till it’s finished.
Database update
Dave is working on fixing bugs in the database as Jocelyn identifies them.

Postponed to next month. Survey person did not come to meeting.
