Rental Agreement Addendum

SECURITY GATE AND SECURITY ISSUES:
- I agree to keep the USTU gates locked except when: a) We are propping the gate open for a short time to admit guests; b) I am going in and out for loading/unloading; and c) I am on a short errand while the gate is being supervised. (Consensus on 03/07/11)
RECYCLING:
- I agree to participate by putting cardboard, clean paper, glass and cans in the recycling bins. I agree not to throw garbage in the recycling bins. (Consensus on 02/28/11)
OLD PLUMBING:
- I agree not to pour any oils or fats down the sinks or toilets. I agree not to use Drano or other chemical drain cleaning products. (Consensus on 02/28/11)
PARKING:
- Unless parking privileges are authorized in my occupancy agreement, rental agreement, or proprietary lease I agree not to use the parking areas on USTU property except temporary parking by special arrangement with the Building Manager. (Consensus on 09/26/11)
AUTOMOBILES:
- I agree that I am only entitled to the no-car discount for months in which no one living in my designated USTU owned property owns a car. (Consensus on 09/26/11)
PETS AND VISITING PETS:
- I agree not to acquire or accept a dog. Other than an indoor/outdoor cat authorized in my rental agreement, I agree to keep my cat(s) indoors except for short periods outside under my supervision and trips to the vet. I agree not to feed cats on USTU owned properties except in the apartment where the cat resides. (“Original” version)
SMOKING: I agree not to smoke anywhere on USTU owned properties and to inform my guests of the “no smoking” rule. (Consensus on 05/23/11)
LAUNDRY HOURS:
- I agree to only do laundry in the 117 laundry rooms during posted laundry hours. (Consensus on 03/07/11)
NOISE LEVELS:
- I agree to be considerate of my neighbors with regard to noise levels and to reduce the noise level when requested. I agree to keep noise levels low after 10 pm on Sundays-Thursdays and after midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. I understand USTU has a diverse range of ages that includes children and I am comfortable with noise that is within reason. (Consensus on 06/13/11)
GUESTS, SHORT AND LONGER TERM:
- I agree to pay an additional $50 a month per person for guests who stay with me for more than two weeks in the month (this only applies to the 117 Bimini Place building). (Consensus 07/11/11)
STRUCTURAL CHANGES TO YOUR APARTMENT UNIT OR THE BUILDINGS:
- I agree to obtain permission from the appropriate body before making structural changes to my unit or any part of the buildings. (Consensus 07/11/11)
SAFETY AND SECURITY ISSUES:
- I agree to keep the halls clear in compliance with the Fire and Housing Department Regulations. I agree not to dispose of unwanted personal items and furniture in common areas and on the grounds. (Consensus on 09/26/11)
KEYS:
- I agree to pay a $10 charge for a replacement gate key. I agree not to duplicate my gate key. (Consensus 07/11/11)
